Robert Fiester was elected to City Council in May of 2018. He served briefly on the Planning and Zoning Commission from 2017 until he was elected to the City Council.
Mr. Fiester has lived in North Texas since 2000. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Kansas State University. He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management degree, both from The University of Texas at Dallas. Mr. Fiester served on Active Duty with the United States Marine Corps from 2003 until 2008. He was stationed at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth with VMGR-234, where he was Aircrew and a Flight Mechanic on KC-130Ts. Mr. Fiester currently manages a Civil Engineering design office in Plano for an international Architectural and Engineering company. He is also a Registered Landscape Architect with the State of Texas.
Mr. Fiester and his wife, Elena, along with their two boys, have lived in Highland Village since 2014. They were previously residents of Flower Mound from 2007.
