City Lifts Allowance of Temporary Signage for Restaurant and Retail

News Release Southside of City Hall

Last year we were in the beginning stages of the COVID-19 Disaster Declaration and allowed restaurants and retail businesses the option to place temporary bandit signs so the public would know what businesses were open and what services were being offered. The disaster declaration has been lifted and Gov. Abbott has opened Texas to 100% capacity. We are removing the temporary allowance of bandit signs, effective May 1, 2021. Highland Village businesses should remove any temporary bandit signs by this date.
