Visitors to the Splash Pad will see several changes to this amenity. During the 2022-23 off-season, a new cool deck type of surface material was installed that is used in both residential and commercial applications. The boulders were removed for two reasons - safety and maintenance. We removed the risk of serious injury by removing the boulders; maintenance issues include algae buildup around the base of the boulders that attributed to safety issues with a slick slippery surface. Fencing is now in place around the perimeter of the splash pad area providing added security and protects the splash pad from unauthorized use during off hours. Shade canopies were installed to provide much needed respite from the sun. Staff is continuing to look at options to enhance the play elements at the splash pad while maintaining safety and integrity of this popular amenity. We hope you enjoy!

Water Conservation Efforts
The Splash Pad uses recycled treated water. There are two state of the art water treatment systems, a chlorine system operated by an automated chlorine water chemistry controller and the secondary treatment source is a UV system.
The Splash Pad is not available for rent and is not included in rental of the Barn or Pavilion. The Splash Pad can close at anytime for maintenance.
