The HVPD SkyWatch was purchased with the assistance of a CoServ Charitable Foundation grant as well as other donations from local businesses The SkyWatch is used to enhance safety, security and emergency preparedness at local business shopping centers, schools, parks, youth sporting events, trails and other special events.
SkyWatch is deployed at a random schedule based on operational needs and periodically staffed by volunteers with the Police Civilian Auxiliary and Police Officers.
