Responsibilities
Code Enforcement works with citizens to maintain and improve the quality of life in Highland Village by enforcing City ordinances related to public nuisance issues, including:

• Bandit signs
• Illegal dumping of garbage or debris
• Illegal dumping of oils or other hazardous materials
• Junk vehicles or vehicle parts in plain view
• Outdoor storage of junk or debris
• Recreational or personal vehicles or trailers parked on the grass
• Signs placed in the right of way
• Stagnant swimming pools
• Tall grass or weeds
• Yard / garage sales
