Bulk waste will be collected on your regular service day. Up to three cubic yards of bulk waste will be collected per pickup. Place all bulk waste at least three feet away from your trash receptacle no later than 7:00 a.m. on your designated collection day.
Bulky Waste - Acceptable Items
Furniture Bundled carpet in 4-foot lengths Fence panels no larger than 4'x6' nails removed Washing machines, dryers, water heaters, and kitchen appliances Refrigerators/freezers (must be tagged certifying removal of refrigerants) Up to ten additional trash bags
Bulky Waste - Prohibited Items
Commercial construction and/or remodeling debris Household hazardous waste Car parts, tires, batteries, and propane tanks Bricks and concrete Debris from the services of a commercial tree service provider
Special Trash Pickup
If you have more than three cubic yards of bulk waste or a large amount of debris from a home remodel or replaced fence, contact Republic Services at 972-316-0789 to schedule a pickup for a reasonable fee.
Optional Drop off for Bulk & Trash Items
Residents may dispose of household/yard waste at $15 per yard, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Camelot Landfill. Residents must provide proof of residency with their driver's license or photo I.D., accompanied with a Highland Village utility bill with a Highland Village address. The photo I.D. must reflect the same resident as the bill.
