In late 2021, the City of Highland Village contracted with McAdams and began the “Our Village Our Vision” process to update the City's master planning documents. Many meetings were held with the public, property owners, focus groups, Park Board, Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council. The plan includes updates to:
- Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan
- Trail System Master Plan
- Opportunity Area Plans
- FM 407 Trail Corridor and Amenity Plan
- Thoroughfare Plan
The "Our Village Our Vision" Comprehensive Plan was approved by City Council on February 28, 2023.
