The goal of the Fire Prevention Division is fire safety and fire prevention through public education, inspections, and enforcing standards as set out by the International Fire Code.
Fire and EMS Operations
Our Fire and EMS Operations provide fire protection and emergency medical services to the citizens of Highland Village. All of our Engines and Ambulances are equipped with Advanced Life Support (ALS) equipment so that immediate patient care can be administered by the first arriving unit. Our personnel are dual certified by both the Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) and Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) allowing them to provide both fire and EMS services.
