The Public Art Advisory Board shall be solely advisory. The Board shall study, consider and make recommendations to the City Council regarding the selection, acquisition, location, and disposition of Public Art in accordance with the City's Public Art Policy; develop and recommend to the City Council programs that promote the general community interest, awareness, and participation in the City's Public Art program, including but not limited to the donation of artwork to be accepted as Public Art; recommend amendments to the Public Art Policy; and perform such other tasks assigned to the Board by the City's Public Art Policy and the City Council.
If a member has a conflict of interest in review or recommendation of any item, he or she shall remove themselves and refrain from voting only on the item for which a conflict exists.
