Officer Epperson - Personal Message
Hello, my name is KC Epperson. I grew up in Highland Village and graduated from Marcus High School. I have lived in California and Michigan but returned home to North Texas to pursue my career. I graduated from the Collin College Police Academy and have been a police officer with the city of Highland Village since 2014. Prior to becoming a police officer, I was an Animal Control Officer for 7 years.
I currently maintain my Texas Animal Control Officer certification, along with my telecommunications certification, to help the city where I am needed. I graduated the IPMBA bike school and am on the police department’s bike team. In my down time, I enjoy the outdoors, running, and spending time with my family and friends. I am proud to serve the community in which I grew up in and look forward to a long career with the city of Highland Village.
If you ever have any questions about safety or crime please give us a call and we will be happy to meet with you. Our job as your AOR Officer is to monitor Area 2 for crime conducive conditions and to make certain that your questions and concerns are addressed promptly. While patrolling Area 2 we look for things such as suspicious people, suspicious vehicles, faded traffic and street signs, and children who forgot their safety helmets.
There are approximately 390 homes, 1,270 residents and (6) businesses in AOR 2.
This Area is located on the far west side of Highland Village and the homes here are relatively new to our community.
Traffic can be a concern in Area 2 because FM 2499 runs nearby but the neighborhoods are generally very quiet.
In regards to crime, residents should be aware of construction near their homes and be watchful for suspicious persons or vehicles in their neighborhoods. Construction site thefts occasionally occur and residents are our best resource to notify us of unusual activity.
AOR 2 is a fun, safe and peaceful place to live. Contact us if you would like more information about our AOR.
