Hello, my name is Travis Flowers. I grew up in Highland Village, and I am a Marcus High School graduate. I attended the University of North Texas where I earned a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. I then attended the University of Texas at Dallas and earned a masters degree in Justice Administration and Leadership.
When I am not at work my hobbies include, backpacking, camping, weight training, and spending time with my family. Fun fact, I currently hold the Texas State Record for Bench Press in my weight class. I love serving the community I grew up in. This community has given me so much, and now I can give back to it.
If you ever have any questions about safety or crime please give one of us a call and we will be happy to meet with you. Our job as your AOR Officers is to monitor Area 1 for crime conducive conditions and to make certain that your questions and concerns are addressed promptly. While patrolling Area 1 we look for things such as suspicious people, suspicious vehicles, faded traffic and street signs, and children who forgot their safety helmets.
AOR 1 is located on the northwest side of Highland Village and encompasses the Northwood and Brooks Court subdivisions. AOR 1 is a very peaceful place to live and there is relatively little traffic, except for the intersection of Village Parkway (FM 2499) and Highland Shores Blvd. In regards to crime, residents should be aware of construction near their homes and be watchful for suspicious persons or vehicles in their neighborhoods.
AOR 1 is a fun, safe and quiet place to live. Contact me if you would like more information about our AOR.
