Officer MacLean - Personal Message
Hello, my name is Michael MacLean. I'm originally from a small town south of Boston. I moved to Highland Village in 2004 and began volunteering with the Highland Village Police Auxiliary in 2008. It was my experiences volunteering with HVPD that sparked my interest in Law Enforcement and set me on the path to attend and graduate from the Collin County Law Enforcement Academy. I feel very fortunate, not only to live in the community, but also to be a part of such a community focused police department. In my off time, I enjoy time with family and friends, as well as outdoor activities like camping, hiking, and mountain biking. I grew up riding motorcycles both on and off road and like to listen to music of all kinds. I hope to be a positive influence and look forward to working with residents to meet the goals and expectations of the community.

If you ever have any questions about safety or crime please give one of us a call and we will be happy to meet with you. Our job as your AOR Officers is to monitor Area 1 for crime conducive conditions and to make certain that your questions and concerns are addressed promptly. While patrolling Area 1 we look for things such as suspicious people, suspicious vehicles, faded traffic and street signs, and children who forgot their safety helmets.

AOR 1 is located on the northwest side of Highland Village and encompasses the Northwood and Brooks Court subdivisions. AOR 1 is a very peaceful place to live and there is relatively little traffic, except for the intersection of Village Parkway (FM 2499) and Highland Shores Blvd. In regards to crime, residents should be aware of construction near their homes and be watchful for suspicious persons or vehicles in their neighborhoods.
AOR 1 is a fun, safe and quiet place to live. Contact me if you would like more information about our AOR.
